Gauhar Shahmanovna (Kashanova) – Burasheva was born in Almaty in 04.26.1951 in a family of a teacher. My father Kashanov Shahma was a history teacher. My mother Kashanova Nasiha was a primary school teacher. When I studied at school I wrote poems, played dombra and sang. First poems were published in “Baldyrgan” magazine in 1965. When I finished school №278 in 1967, I went to Faculty of Chemistry in QazNU and finished in 1972, and then I went to PhD course. I worked as an engineer, junior scientist, senior researcher, senior teacher, docent in QazNU. I presented a dissertation in specialty 02.00.10 – Chemistry of Natural and Physically Active Substances in 1981. In 2004, I presented doctoral dissertation in specialty 02.00.10 - Bioorganic Chemistry. In 2008, I become professor of chemistry. In 2005 – 2009, I managed in chair of organic chemistry and Chemistry of Natural Compounds in Al- Farabi KazNU. Since 2000, the chemical composition of 23 species of halophytes of Kazakhstan has been studied, of which 18 new compounds have been identified. As a result of research works from the Alhagi Kirgisorum Schrenk developed and created a tincture, the substance Alhidin and 5% - ointment, Zhantak syrup based on it, all forms are registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan as medicines. Since 2000, 6 PhD theses and 4 Ph.D-students have been prepared and defended the doctors. Author 1 - patent of the Russian Federation, 35 - prepatents RK, 3-utility models, 300 - articles, 80 - abstracts, 1 monograph, 5 new pharmaceuticals. Hirsch Index - 6. Since 2007, 4 textbooks have been issued, 1 textbook «Chemistry and Technology of Natural Compounds», a collection of test problems for the course, Organic Chemistry. I read the general course in organic chemistry, prepared special courses in the Kazakh language: «Chemical technology of Vegetable Raw Materials», «Chemistry and Technology of Carbohydrates», « Standardization and certification of herbal remedies» etc. Inventor of the USSR Medal Winner (1987), Golden Sign of the Ғылым сардары (2008), for the contribution of the development of science and technology of the RK was awarded the state scholarship in 2004, in 2015 received the title of Best Teacher - 2015. According to the results of the General Rating, the IAAR among PPS RK in 2015 occupied the 28th ; 2016 - 21; in the 2017-2018 year - the 27-th place. Husband - Burashev Mahat. I have three children: Gulshat; Yerlan and Maulen,grandchildren - Arslan,Aruzhan.
